Help! Need to buy a tractor.....

We have 6 acres and are going to mow all of it. We have no idea what brand or model to buy. WE've been looking at JD's and Ford 8N-2N-9N. We'd like to spend around $2500. Anyone have any advice or recommendations. We are going to look at a JD 50 w/ a 5' bushhog for $2950. We don't know much about tractors so any advice is appreciated.
