I dont really think that there is lead in the paint on that tractor from original,but if the tractor has been repainted you never know.Lead paint was not commonly used for anything other than wood because it helped make a more solid finish.I still would use proper resperation when removing paint.I think the best way to go is sandblasting even if it is a little expensive.Alot of the chemical paint removers can really disagree with a new paint finish It can cause fish eyes and maybe even solvent pop.Just be carefull and its always a good idea to keep kids out of it cause you never know what they think looks good to eat or chew.
