The original subject was "Re: OT Union, hard at work.".

As a former Union worker for Bobcat Co. in Gwinner No.Dak. I can relate to the crap that takes place. The Union protects the lazy good for nothing workers but screws over the hard working ones. I was a steward for the union and did my very best that I could to serve my union brothers. After nearly 13 years of 6 day work weeks I thought I would try a different job that offered less time on the job. I then quit my job at Bobcat and after one day reconsidered my poor decision and called the Company to see if I could reverse my decision. The company said no problem because the paperwork had not been turned in.They would grant me a one day leave and I would return to work the following Monday. This until the UNION BIG Shots at Gwinner got hold of it. They would not allow it stating that I quit and that was final. What a great way to treat a union brother and former steward. Had the company fought my return I am certain the Union would have fought for my return. The Union leaders are a disgrace to the Union in Gwinner!
I have spoken with one of the Union leaders and this person also agreed I got screwed by the Union board.I can so relate to how leadership screws the Union and the company. I have seen it with my own eyes and am disgusted with how they act.
I feel for the average worker cuz they are scrutinized in every aspect of every situation concerning work and company policies, breaks absenteeism, talking on the job, and so forth.
This is my response to the Union Leadership screwing the Ford Motor Co.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing. ... [Read Article]
