wow so the 1080, 1085, and the 285 have the same perkins 4 cylinder engine. 4.5x5 with 318 ci. rated at 2000 RPM's. It must be a pretty good engine then. The 285 has always looked to me like it needs more weight up front or maybe even everywhere. The 1085 weighs over 10000 pounds and i think our 1080 is over 8500.
