I've seen several posts here about how hard it is for a middle aged or more than middle aged person to get a job - just be glad you're not "young". USA Today reports that unemployment among those 25 or younger is at 52%. This number takes in account those in college, unable to work, etc..., this is among those actively seeking employment.
Another report showed that the college graduating class of 2010 has an "employment rate" of slightly more than 60%, including those that took a took a job at McDonalds or Wal-Mart stocking shelves, but not including those that decided to go on to graduate school when they couldn't find a job.
