H wont behave!

Gotn a 45 H.Idles fine,stays at high rpms fine but skips when I pull the throttle back.Rebuilt the carb,accually a mechanic friend done it,replaced plugs,wires,cap,points etc.Still does it.What can I do now?thanks.
