I posted this over on the Red Power Board also, but knew you guys know alot about letter series. I picked up a C with very old paint, that has white underneith. BUT I had written down in my serial guide that white C's started with the first serial no. of 1950 which was 47010-54411 being the last, and mine is 46368. The casting codes are towards the end of dec. 49. Believe the letter to be a S in the date codes. Also has a letter cast into the platform that someone told me pertained to the white ones, which is a L that is cast by itself. If the white tractors were introduced in the begining of 50, then surely some were made towards the end of 49 for delivery the first part of 50 correct? anyone have a clue? its deffinately white underneith.are there any identifying parts or marks to look for? thanks
