MTA,400,450? wich is toughest and reliabe?

Hey guys I'm about to buy a smta. A buddy of mine is trying to convince to consider a little newer 450. I know the 450 has a little more horses,but I need something very reliable. the M has a great track record but I don't know much about the 450? Any Input? thanks again for the great forum! Dan
