OK I Will Plead My Ignorance 230 Hydraulics Wheres The Filler????

I give Up, it shames me but since my manual is junk I can't for the life of me figure out where the Hydraulics works from on this thing. Common sense tells me it sucks from the tranny as theres a port coming from there but is that really the case? Is the rear end, tranny and hydraulic pump all the same feed? Otherwise there is no place to fill the unit under the gas tank besides the vent tube which aint doing it. Somebody educate me here please. Also, theres no oil level hole to check the rear end tranny ect oil so how do you check this thing beyond looking into the filler hole in the deck. I just had the deck completely off and theres no hole in the side anywhere. This is a different beast than I am used to?????????
