George... just curious about this quote: ""He's foolishly asking for 1.2 billion for research funding for hydrogen powered cars. The responsible thing would be to knock this silly idea in the head."" Why is this such a foolish idea? Hydrogen is THE MOST abundant element on planet earth. The cars are already made, its just a matter of working out NUMEROUS bugs and glitches. The time will come when oil is gone. Maybe not in your lifetime or maybe not in 2000 more years but someday it'll happen. Lets think of the future just a little here and help the generations to follow. Maybe he doesn't need to give that much money towards it but the idea none the less is not a bad one at all.
