I came across 2 1953 Super M's in the paper. They want $1000 each, they are both stuck, and they are complete. How are some ways on how to loosen a block. I know that there is many ways on how the motor could become stuck, such as no oil, main bearings, etc. I have heard that you remove the head, fill the head with kero and leave it set a few days, then try to crank it over by pulling it. Another person {John Deere man}, said that you remove the head, if the piston is at the bottom, put cotton balls in the block, fill with kero and then diesel, have a sledge hammer with a board that would fit down in the block, light the fuel on fire, and start pounding away. It is supposed to exspand the piston, crack the rust, and therefor help release the piston. Like to own a Super M for a loader tractor. Any ideas is appreciated!!
