Need an IH Wizard !

Okay,

I'm hooking a remote cylinder to my old 686 and everything works great except:

When I plug the hose tip into one of receivers, and pull the lever out to the 'operate' position, it seems as though there is not enough "resistance" somewhere, 'cause the tip will just pop right back out if I barely touch it or the hose.

This is without any pressure on the lines at all. And, I'm sure that I've slid the receiver back in against the stop after I get the tip in.

The other three work just fine and do the "lock in" thing.

What controls that "breakaway" feature anyway? That internal o-ring seems okay (looks good) as does the little "ball-retainer" ring.

Any ideas?
