Hey, I have a 1954 Super C that I inherited from my father-in-law and am pretty new at tractor use and repair. I have it running now and would like to use it for clearing some pastures and undergrowth. My neighbors have brand new huge tractors with 8' bush hogs that will cut through anything and while I don't expect to do that I would like to do some clearing. Does anyone have any experience with this issue? I understand there are 3 pt conversion kits available, but aren't there also trail behind (2 pt or fast hitch) type mowers available that would hook right to the drawbar? What about belly mowers? Which one would work better and also what size would work best with a Super C? (What's the horsepower, by the way?) I appreciate any advice.
