Don't know if there was a kit to convert or not, but to do so would have required changing out the torque tube (bell housing) and the engine block. More likely what has happened is that some one took the front end of a Super A and attached it to the back end of and A. Or...someone had a Super A with bad seat supports and found some from and A, putting them on the Super A along with the serial tag. Lot's of things like this happen to these old tractors over the years. You can sort of check what you have by checking casting dates. All the major castings have date codes, so you can tell when they were manufactured.
