I may be all wet here, but I just dont' think that is how that "delay" feature worked.

The rear left port just simply pointed back, that's all. The delay required an additional restricted coupler unit, which was added in the hose line externally. I think I still have one of those things setting in a window sill down at the farm, cause we never ever used the joker.

I'm like you Dave, how in the world could a guy ride one of those things for years & years on end and not remember every single little nut and bolt?

I think if I had one laying in front of me, it would be no problem to mount it up okay. But to pull the darned images out of my mind is somewhat of a task at this late date. :>(
