I'm seriously thinking about buying a new home (farmhouse) with some acreage. The property has an historic barn (built sometime between 1875 and 1930) built half way into the bank. There's the typical earthen ramp that leads to barn door. My question is in regard to the weight that those old floors can hold. The big beams in the floor are large hand-hewn square beams. The smaller beams are logs (with bark) about 6" in diameter. The planking on these looks to be solid. Assuming that the floor beams are solid, do you think it's safe to park my tractors in there? I have an H, a C, and an F-12. I could probably put the C and the F-12 in the basement if I had to. Do yous guys store tractors in these kinds of barns? Any feedback / advice would be greatly appreciated! Tony
