SWD9 oil guage

Hello, What is the correct style oil guage for a SWD9? I now have an un-numbered style with the red band on the left. The oil pressure is off the guage. I can barely get it to read at 5/8 to 3/4 of the guage when hot and barely turning over. Should I be using the numbered style guage for this tractor? My manual says this engine is supposed to have 60-75 psi oil pressure if I remember right. Why is the oil pressure so high on these old beasts? All of my modern diesels barely hold 40 psi oil pressure. Mark
