Super A - Steering Seal

I posted a week or so ago about the seal leaking on the Steering and was told a temp fix was to put cornhead greese in there. I did get the greese but I may just go ahead and replace the seal if it isnt to much trouble. In the parts cat. it is on page 178 and part #7 (oil seal). So you have to take the nut and retainer off the end of the steering column and then what? Does the column just slide out or do you have to screw it out because of the worm shaft? After I get it out it looks like the end (because of the worm gear) would be to big to slide the oil seal off so I guess you have to remove the steering wheel and take it off that way then slide the new one down the shaft? Just wanting to see how much trouble this is going to be where I can decide what to do.
