It still is not charging but the lights will work. Something for another day. I need to do some mowing with this machine, will it hurt anything to leave the hood off? It's kind of a pain to take on and off and I would like to get to the bottom of my chargeing problems. Didn't know if the hood aided in cooling or support in some way. My cost so far, $20 for new wire and light bulbs $64 for battery, old one was 3 weeks past warenty $60 Co pay at urgent care after flipping battery acid in my left eye. Oh it's been a fun day. Paul
