Need some advise on getting axles out of final drive castings to renew seals, bearings, etc.. I have the brake drum and shaft removed and removed the cap and bolt that holds the rear axle. The manual says to push from inside out, but mine won't budge. It looks like it may be tight on the splines on the bull gear, but I can't see in there. I have the end of the shaft swelled out from beating on it. It will never go through the bearing now. I am going to have to push it back and try to clean up the shaft and start over. Any ideas? Am I missing something?
