The Super A I have been working apparently had a faulty magneto. Put an old spare on it and it cranked and runs but needs a carb rebuild and needs to be timed. How, specifically, do you time it? I see that the magneto "pivots" from a bolt at its bottom and the adjustment is at the top. what procedures do I need to take to set it? Is it best done by loosening these 2 bolts just enough that you can turn the magneto by hand then crank the tractor and adjust by ear while it's running or what? Thanks for the suggestions. Also I need a carb kit to fit it, if anyone has one or knows a good place to get one let me know. It has a Zenith carb with the following numbers on it: 352377R91 and 10522. The tractor is serial #260001.
