My sister and I inherited my uncles farm, we moved from the city out to the old plantation, we found there is a lot we do not know and appreciate your help. Old Farmall tractor with the steering gear above the front wheels, shaft runs over the top. Siting in the barn for over 30 years, uncle never got around to using it. Figured we needed to change oil, called several people, they said drain old oil and fill with new. Did as instructed, cannot get it started. Funny thing, never knew a tractor would take 52 quarts of oil. Filled it until we could see the oil topped to the cap.
