Ask him a coupla questions... 1: How will he tie down the tractor to his trailer? Anyone who doesn't use at least 4 tie downs is breaking the DOT regs and not too safety oriented. 2: What is his equipment like? This unfortuanately you may not be able to discern until it shows up in the yard. Shiny Paint is nice, but even more important is good tires, connected brakes, and safety chains properly installed.You CAN ask what kind of brakes he has and how he likes them... 3: Can he give you some references? I haul occasionally for others to pay the gas bill. If you have any additional questions feel free to E mail me.
