Finally got around to working on my F-20 yesterday. When I got it home last week I noticed engine turned hard so I divided up a qt. of ATF down the sparkplug holes.Turns over real easy now!Too easy it seems. Pulled valve cover to confirm what I expected. All the ex. valves were stuck open.Slathered up everything with Blaster to soak, and every thing else on tractor too.I'm going to keep soaking the valve stems for a couple of days.Think I'll pull off rocker shaft assy.s and with my rubber mallet maybe they might come free.My big plan is to see it run with out tearing it down first.Maybe I'll get really lucky and it will have good oil pressure, compression and won't smoke or leak excessive amounts of oil.Would sure save time&$$$.But I'll go through motor if I have to.Anybody else have same experience?
