My 1950 C had three rotating arms on the hydraulic system and they were in sad shape to say the least. When I got the tractor the hyd. system made the engine labor more when the arms rotated forward. When they rotated back it seemed much easier. I assumed it was because the arms were so mangled and rewelded. You could see them rubbing on one another. I have since found a perfect set from a 1949 C and replaced the arm and shaft assemblies only, leaving intact the factory reservior and cylinders. The same thing is happening, When they rotate forward they really drag the engine down and rotate effortlessly reward. Is there something wrong with the system or is this just the nature of the beast?
