I'm looking for advice. I"ve got an M that I'm about to overhaul. Its got two stuck pistons, and I'm planning to either hone the liners, or replace them and do whatever else it needs to bring it back to useable condition. I've got the head off and the pan off (they have been off for a year, soaking in brake fluid---PB blaster---diesel fuel....you name it, I've tried it... Any way its time to finish it. My questions are...Is it better to pull the engine and the crank and then remove the pistons and liners, or to do it while the tracor is still all together?? I'm gonna pull the engine anyway, to replace the seals and all the gaskets....so whats the easiest way to do it..??? Thanks for your help.
