Cleaning Oil - F20

I purchased a F 20 that is running, however, it has not been cared for. I drained the oil and removed the filter and the oil was almost like grease. A clear fluid also came our of the filter drain when I removed the plug. What was this and is this normal? How can I flush the sludge from the bottom of the oil pan. Will I need to remove the pan or can I flush something through the system to clean it out. Thanks for your help. DTR
