I've read many posts about other people getting their tractors stuck in two gears. I also thought that it would be fairly simple to fix. However, I need some help! I must be over looking something simple because I cant get the dang shifter lever off to align the shift rails. Going down the shifter there is a small pin, then a spring on top of the metal boot/cover, then under the boot a bolt with a nut on one side. I took the nut off and tried to tap the bolt out, but that bolt won't come out. Do I need to remove this bolt to get lever out? Do you need to push down on the gear shift lever some while trying to take out the bolt? Or do I need to focus in on the little pin above the spring? The little pin looks to be flattened/smashed on each side where it goes through the lever. I hope someone can explain this seemingly simple process, Thanks Guys!
