Hi, I don't know much about farming in the states, but there is a song of the "Beach Boys" "..the midwest Farmers Daughters.." so I believe that the midwest is a good,area to buy tractors. Maybe You also take a look at the several Harvest-Times.
I make the experience, that May and September are the best Times to buy a tractor in my Area (Germany, Eifel until down the Rhine to Wesel).
Look for Time between two harvests or the early spring, than a lot of Farmers need Money and want to sell their old Staff for lesser money.
