I read the thread where the guy was asking what type of oilt to use in an H. Diesel rated sounded like a good plan. However, my engine hasn't run in several years, and I think it's gonna be pretty bad on the inside. What is a "Detergent" oil? What kind of oil should I get to run through it to clean it up, then I can change that oil after the engine is cleaned up. How long should I run the cleaning oil before a change to the long term diesel rated?
