Did not want to hack Farmer Johns post but been wanting to ask this for awhile. These seem like major liability risks to me. 1. Automotive junk yards that let you pull your own parts sometimes furnishing you the tools. 2. a tire shop that lets you jack up car and take it off the hub in the yard. They furnish tools. 3.industrial places that lets you unload items with their forklift!!! I am starting to see a lot of this type of stuff (where customer does some of the work) Years ago it was forbotten to a low customer in say a garage work area!!! We had one at a farm coop (unloading crops) forklift guy was backed up with trucks to unload and people started using spare forklifts on there own. One guy crashed and yep "we fleece and good" filed suit and all double L broke out. Don't think much money came out of it but personal and policies got changed quick!!!!
