She sputterd belched and died. Was'nt a pretty sight. Shop says that the faulty air cleaner on this model allowed dirt and crud to enter into the turbo which led to the failure of it which inturn sent little pieces into the engine that caused it to fail. I bought the truck with 68000 miles on it and it now has 91000. I put a new transmission in at 72000 (auto) $3500 and now I,m looking at $8900 for a new engine. Now all I need is for the tranfer case to fail. I have so much stuck in this truck now that I'll have to drive it for the next 100 yrs. Has anyone else had this bad of luck with this model? Thanks in advance for all the listening ears and advice.
